The Pa Sak River is fed by tributaries carrying water trickling from the Namtok Than Thip Forest Park, making it an important rain catchment area. The steep mountain range is lush with plants and fauna, including jungle fowl, bamboo rats, jungle cats, and butterflies. With a total area of 14 square kilometers, the park has an array of attractions, ranging from the Exhibition Center, swimmable rapids such as Kaeng Nam Wing, and swimming basins like Tat Chomphu, to waterfalls like Namtok Than Thip. Namtok Than Thip, after which the park is named, is a steep, beautiful waterfall towering 26 meters high with flowing water throughout the year.
